PriceslReceived By Farmers Hit Eighl-Year Low HELENA (UPD -The Montana Crop and Livestock Reporting Service said Wednesday that prices received by Montana farmers in June for all products was the. lowest of any month since February, 1956. The report said the farm index of prices, which fell nine points, was forced down most by lower wheat prices.

The report said prices also were down for all cattle, oats, hay, dry beans and wholesale milk. At 67 per cent of its 1947-49 average the all-crop index was 14 points below mid-May and was the lowest since its establishment in 1948. Wheat headed the list of tow prices, with a precipitous drop of 38 cents a bushel. The report said the decline reflects changes in the wheat program involving a reduced price-support loan rate and the use of market certificates. Mid-month prices received for wheat and other grains reflect open market sales and do not include the value of marketing certificates or payments-in-kind; received by growers, the report said.

Also lower than last month were prices received for hay, down $.130 per ton; dry beans, down' 10 cents per- hundred weight and oats off three cents a bushel. i These declines more than 'counteracted the efforts of one cent a bushel increase for barley and four cents a bushel for flaxseed and 10 cents per hundredweight for potatoes.
